Symphony Under the Stars is intended to be an enjoyable family gathering, but there are certain rules and regulations that we must adhere to.
- NO early blanket placement on Friday before 3:00 PM.
- NO driving around temporary or permanent barricades.
- NO running during Friday’s Blanket Placement.
- NO parking in the PE Center east lots on Friday.
- NO parking in any of the PE Center lots on Saturday without a SUTS parking pass, or state-issued handicap license plates or window placard.
- NO parking in the Guad lot, or the St. Charles’ lots without a SUTS parking pass.
- NO parking in the residential areas west of campus.
- NO stakes, rocks or bricks to hold your blankets down.
- NO tarps of any kind to reserve your space.
- NO tents/canopies of any kind.
- NO operation of drones.
- NO use of laser pens, pointers, or other distractions.
- NO firearms, knives, or other weapons.
- NO pets of any kind. Exceptions for service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- NO grills or open flame of any size/type allowed.
- NO smoking or vaping of any legal or illegal substances.
- NO posting of concert audio or videos on social media.
- NO crossing of barricades surrounding the fireworks display area.

It seems obvious, but there are certain items and behaviors that should not be brought to an event as large as this is. The items and behaviors below are restricted and may get you escorted off campus, at the very least.
Weapons and Dangerous Items
- Firearms
- Knives, swords, and other bladed weapons
- Tasers, stun guns, and similar devices
- Pepper spray, mace, or chemical irritants
- Explosives, fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices
- Any object intended or used to cause harm
Illegal Substances
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
Hazardous Materials
- Flammable liquids or gas
- Smoke bombs or pyrotechnic devices
Disruptive or Unsafe Items
- Laser pointers
- Drones or unmanned aerial devices
- Remote-controlled vehicles
- Skateboards, scooters, e-bikes
- Air horns or excessively loud noisemakers
- Large poles, sticks, or flagpoles
- Items that obstruct the view or movement of other guests
Recording and Commercial Activity
- Professional photography, videography, or audio recording equipment without authorization
- Unauthorized sales, solicitation, fundraising, or distribution of materials
Animals
- Animals, except service animals as defined by applicable law
Behavioral Restrictions
- Disorderly, disruptive, or intoxicated behavior
- Harassment, threats, fighting, or abusive conduct
- Destruction of property
- Failure to follow directions from event staff, security personnel, or law enforcement
